Abstract

Abstrac: The purpose of the research to know defferences of (1) Direct Instruction and Mind Mapping models influence towards student writing skill disciption text. (2) leraning motivastion influence in high and low category toward student writing skill disciption text, (3) the effect interaction of leraning-model implementation and leraning-motivastion toward writing skill description text. The samples of the research are Grade V SD N Musuk 1 and grade V SD N Sukorame 1. This  research use experimental method with 2x2 factorial design. Data were collected by means of questionnaire for students learning motivation data and test for the data of students writing skill description text. Those data were analyzed with two-way Anava test with different content of cell, followed with double comparison of Scheffe method whit level of significance 0,05. The result showed that, frist there were significance difference between Dirct Instruction and Mind Mapping model’s toward students writing skill disciption text (FA = 9,85 > Ftabel = 2,8.). second, there were significance difference between learning motivation influence in high and low toward student writing skill description text (FB = 2,88 > Ftabel = 2,8. Third, there was no effect interaction of learning-model implementation and leraning-motivation toward writing skill description text (FAB = 0,02 < Ftabel = 2,8). Keywords : Direct Instruction, Mind Mapping, Learning Motivation, Writing Skill

Abstract

The purposes of this research is to improve the ability to identify the diversity of  Indonesian society through application Point Counterpoint learning model. This research was conducted in fourth grade students of SD N 2 Sidomulyo 2018/2019 school year. Types of this research is Classroom Action Reseacrh. This research conducted with two cycles, each cycles consists of four stages, namely planning, observation,action and reflection. Data analysis techniques use interactive analysis model consisting of data collection,data reduction,data presentation and conclusion. Subject of this study were 38 students and class teacher. Data validity testing technique usescontent validity, sources triangulation and technique triangulation. Pre-action results show all students did not reach minimal completness criteria that is 75. After first cycle is completed, researcher got the data that 20 students pass the minimal completness criteria or the class get classical completness 53% and 47% or 18 students did not pass the criteria.in the second cycle, researcher got  data that 31 srudents pass the criteria with average values 75,4 and got classical completness 81,57%. Conclusion of this study is implementation Point Counterpoint learning model can improve the ability to identify the diversity of Indonesian society in fourth grade studentsSD N 2 Sidomulyo in the 2018/2019 school year.

Abstract

The aim of the reseach is to improve the problem sklills by applying auditory, intellectually and repetition model in fifth grade students of Ampel 1 public elementary school 2018/2019 academic  year. This Classroom Action Research be composed of  three cycles with two meetings. Each cycles consist of four stages. The subjects of this study were teachers and 36 students. Data collecting techniques used observation, interview, documentation and test. Data validity used source and  technical triangulation. Data analysis used descriptive comparactive,critical analysis and interactive data analysis. The results showed that the average score of pre-action was 30.75 with classical completeness of 5,56% classical completeness increased to 51.08 with 19.4% classical completeness in first cycle and increased to 61.94 with classical completeness of 52.78% in cycle II, increased again in third cycle  to 82.67 with clasiccal completeness of 86.1%. The results of the research, it can be concluded that through the application of the Auditory Intellectually and Repetition (AIR) model can improve the problem solving skills in fifth grade of Ampel 1 Public Elementary School, Boyolali 2018/2019 academic year.Keyword : problem solving skills, auditory intellectually repetition model.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aimed to increase the descriptive writing skill by using the Concept Sentence model of the second-grade students at Public Elementary School Karangasem II Surakarta in the academic year 2018/2019. The subjects of this study are one teacher and 29-second grade students at Public Elementary School II Surakarta. The type of this research is classroom action research. This research consists of two cycles and every cycle consists of four stages. They are; planning, action, observation, and reflection. In collecting data, the researcher uses: observation, interview, test, and documentation. The data validity test techniques used are; source triangulation, technical triangulation, and content validity. The data analysis technique used in this study is interactive analysis model including data reduction, data display and drawing a conclusion. The finding of this study shows that the application of Concept Sentence model can improve descriptive writing skills students. It can be compared to the  score result in  the pretest and each cycle. In pretest, the classical completeness score of the descriptive writing skill is 13,79%  and then up to 76,42 in the cycle 1, and the score gained in cycle II is 86,21%. It can be concluded that the use of Sentence model can improve the descriptive writing skills of the second grade students at Public elementary School Karangasem II Surakarta in the academic year 2018/2019.Keyword: descriptive writing skills, Concept Sentence model

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to improve mathematical word problems solving skills through the use of REACT strategy in IV grade students at SDN Soropadan No. 108 Surakarta in the 2018/2019 academic year. This study was a Classroom Action Research (CAR), which consisted of 2 cycles and each cycle was held in two confluences. The subjects of this research were teacher and students in IV grade, which amounted to 37 students. Observation, interview, test, and documentation were used as the data collecting techniques. The data validity techniques were content validity and technical triangulation. The data analysis techniques were descriptive comparative, critical analysis, and interactive analysis model Miles & Huberman. The result of this research showed that the average score of mathematical word problems solving skills on pre-action was 36,04 with 2,7% of classical completeness. The average score of first cycle was 68,69 with 51,35% of classical completeness. The average score of second cycle was 85,54 with 83,78% of classical competeness. It concluded that the REACT strategy can improve mathematical word problems solving skills in IV grade students at SDN Soropadan No. 108 Surakarta in the 2018/2019 academic year.Keyword: mathematical word problems solving skills, REACT strategy.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to improve the narrative writing skill through Cooperative learning model of Concept Sentence type with picture series media in third grade students of State Primary School of Kebonsari Kebumen in the academic year 2018/2019. This research was a Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a cycles model. This research  was carried out in two cycles. The subjects of this reseach were the teacher and students of 3rd grade in Kebonsari, Kebumen state primary school. The data collection techniques in  this research  include observation, interview, test, and document. The data validity test of this research were source and technique triangulation and content validity. The data analysis techniques of this research were interactive model of analysis and descriptive comparative technique. The average value of the narrative writing skills at pre-action stage reached 63,20 with 32,35% classical completeness or as much as 11 out of 34 students succeeded. Then in cycle I the average value of narrative writing skills achieved 75,08 with 70,59% of classical completeness or about 24 out of 34 students succeeded and increased again up to 81,06 with 88,23% of classical completeness or about 30 out of 34 student succeeded in cycles II.     Keywords: narrative writing skills, Concept Sentence model, picture series

Abstract

The aim of this research is to improve the word problem solving skills through the use of learning models Assurance, Relevance, Interest, Assessment, Satisfaction (ARIAS). This is an action classroom research that carried out for two cycles. Every cycle consist of four steps there are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Technique that uses for collect data are observation, interview, test, and documentation. The data validity test technique used content validity and triangulation. The data analysis technique uses interactive model learning. The result of this research showed that the initial pre-action test score were 47.08 with classical completeness of 15.15%, increased in the first cycle by 69,2 with classical completeness of 51.5%, then in second cycle it increased significantly to 81.06 with classical completeness of 81.82%. Referring to the results of this reserch it can be conclude that the use of ARIAS learning models can improve the word problem solving skills in fifth grades students of SDN Bumi I No.67 Surakarta academic year 2018/2019.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to improve of concept comprehension on economy activity by applying cooperative learning model type Group Investigation. The subjects were IV grade students of SDN 02 Gedongan in academic year 2018/ 2019, totaling 20 students. This research was a classroom action research which was held in two cycles. There were four stages in each cycle, which was planning, action, observation, and reflection. The data collection techniques were interviews, observations, tests, and documentation. Data analysis techniques, interactive analysis models and comparative descriptive statistics. Data validity using source triangulation and technical triangulation. Results research to show that average class on preaction class score is 51,55 with 0 % classical completeness. Then class average value increased in cycle I to 71,42 with 42,11 % classical completeness, and in cycle II increased again to 79,55 with 84,21 % classical completeness. Based on results research, can concluded that application of cooperative learning model type Group Investigation can improve of concept comprehension on economy activity on the IV grade students of SD Negeri 02 Gedongan in academic year 2018/ 2019.        Keywords: concept comprehension, group investigation model, economy activity, elementary School

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve writing skills through learning scramble cooperative type  in Grade III stundentsof  Laweyan  Primary School No.54 Surakarta Academic Year 2018/2019. The subject of this research were on classroom include teacher 35 students. The use of data were collected through observation, interview, tes and documention techniquers. The analysis data consist ofcollection data, reduction data, presentation data, and tge canclusions. The results of this study  is indicate that in the  acquisition value of the average narrative  writing essay skills are 56.51 with a 8.57% classical completeness. In the first cycle, the average score increased to 65.47 with a classical  completeness of 48.57%, while in the second cycle the average score was 74.82 with a 88.57% classical completeness. Based on the results of the research obtained, it shows that  learning model scramble cooperative type  can improve the narrative essay writing skills in grade III students of Laweyan No. SD Negeri. 54 Surakarta  Academic Year 2018/2019.

Abstract

The direction of this research was to upgrade the problem solving skills of angular measurement by applying the problem solving learning (PSL) model in fourth grade students of public elementary school Tambakreja 02 Cilacap 2018/2019 academic year. This research was a classroom action research consists of 3 cycles with of 2 meetings. Every cycle consist 4 phases. The subjects of this research were 27 students and teachers.Data accumulating technique used interviews, observation, tests, and documentation. The data validity technique used source triangulation and technical triangulation. Data analysis technique maked use of critical analysis, descriptive comparative techniques, and interactive analysis models. The results showed that the average score of pre-action was 41.04 with classical completeness of 3.70%, increase in first cycle to 65,85 with classical completeness of 33,33%, increased at second cycle to 77,36 with classical completeness 66.67%, increased again in third cycle to 83,41 with classical completeness of 88.89%. Results of the research, it can be summarized that through the application of the problem solving learning (PSL) model can improve the problem solving skills of angular measurements in fourth grade student of SDN Tambakreja 02 Cilacap 2018/2019 academic year.Keyword: problem solving skills, problem solving learning model, angular measurement, and elementary school
